Shining

My car is seldom cleaned. It is invariably covered in mud especially as we live on a lane with no drainage. It is even embarrassing to take it to a car wash.

As we are driving it to France on Friday for a short pre-Brexit stopover, I thought it may not go happily through customs if the officers could not see clearly through the windows.

My very kind husband took a bucket of water and some cloths and cleaned it beautifully. He even polished it with some elbow grease. It sparkled in the late afternoon sunshine and I could see the trees reflected on the cars bonnet.

This exceptional occurrence had to be recorded for prosperity, hence my odd blip today.
