Beowulf

Sore head today after last night. So didn't venture very far and had stuff to do around the house anyway. Been reading Tolkein's translation of Beowulf for 2 reasons. 
1) It's by Tolkein and therefore superb.
2) Despite studying a bit of Anglo Saxon many decades ago, I never got round to reading Beowulf. Rectifying that now and enjoying it.
