Seaside sunshine

Where better to go on a summery day than the seaside? We are just an hour from the south coast so we drove down to Worthing and sat on the beach as if it was mid July! Normous found a comfortable boulder to sit on. (Extra) It was so invigorating and we watched people enjoying their day. A young girl galloped along the beach while her dog trotted behind. (See extra) people pushed buggies along the sand.
After enjoying the beach we found a roadside cafe for a coffee. Then we drove westwards along the coast, developed all the way, mostly with retirement bungalows. We found a pub and had a leisurely lunch before we came home.
