Dropping out of the sky

These planters are appearing everywhere.

I don’t like them as a traffic-calming measure. They create bottle necks and it’s awful for cyclists. Cars start to go round a corner and either slam on the brakes or suddenly swerve.

We have speed bumps already so these seem superfluous. In neighbouring roads, residents have tried to remove them with big 4x4s and heavy duty leverage and one road has it’s planter vandalised regularly.

Oh dear.
