Malay spotted Dove

My daughter here in Auckland has a wonderful collection of birds that visit her garden. This Dove intrigued me because of its lovely pink feathers.it is native to Asia but some were brought to Auckland in the 1920's and have settled in nicely. It is very gentle, and a pair spend their day cleaning up what the chooks don't eat.
