Bute House

I had the privilege of attending a dinner at Bute House this evening (the official residence of the First Minister of Scotland) as part of some work I have been involved in around Scotland's culture relating to alcohol and drugs.

It was a really fascinating discussion with so many insightful contributions. I left not underestimating the scale of the task, but with hope intact - if not fortified - and a resolve to do more to support young people.

And they serve some mean chocolates with after-dinner coffee too - handmade in the wilds of Perthshire - fabulous!
