Friends

We went on a long beach walk to Dunstanburgh Castle in Northumberland. My birthday request. We started at the Ship Inn for crab sandwiches and kipper pate on toast, then did the three mile walk there and back. It was a beautifully sunny day, but very windy, which made the walking hard. Exhausting, but rewarding for the views, fresh air and sense of achievement when we'd finished. B's friend joined us for the day too, which was lovely company for her.
