Looking "Down to the wire"

Well I hope I'm not the only one who struggled with todays Mono Monday challenge - down to the wire. After much head scratching, looking for something with wires showing, and finding nothing I gave up and went out in search of other things to photograph.
I headed down through town to the harbour where I captured a few "extras" posted on my blog as normal, visit https://agbpblipphoto.blogspot.com/. From the harbour I walked along to Torre Abbey Sands and was about to go over the pedestrian bridge when I remembered that you can look "down to the wire" that secures the lights along the seafront.
