Have been reading/listening to a lot of Alexander McCall Smith's Isabel Dalhousie series recently and it makes you look at your city through different eyes.

In other news, we got our first enquiry for Hogmanay 2013/14 - people really do see Edinburgh as THE place to bring in the New Year. Would be great if we could go back to having a 5-day entertainment schedule though, rather than cramming everything into 3 days.
