Christmas present?

Our Son's girlfriend loves Mrs. P's praline cake (as indeed we all do), and dropped a massive hint that she would like some for Christmas.

The recipe consists of crushed digestive biscuits, cocoa, butter nad topped with chocolate. Please don't ask about quantities, I have no idea :)

Although Mrs. P hasn't said directly, I think this may be a trial run. We don't normally get a combination of white and milk chocolate on the top :)

I'm reminded of the story of the man who, laying on his death bed, could smell fresh baked scones.
He dragged himself out of bed, crawled down the stairs and was greeted by the sight of hundreds of fresh scones.
As he reached for the table to take one, his wife slapped his wrist and said:

"Put it back, it's or the funeral!"

Oh, I nearly forgot:
The world didn't end today. Seems there was some confusion as to whether it was today or it will be the 21st of December. As Australia is a few hours ahead of The UK I reckon I'll just keep an eye out on what happens there :)
