A walk we haven't done for probably a year or more as old Flash in his 15th year of life was no longer able to do the full round trip. What we call the Mill walk. From the southern edge of Ottobeuren to the nearby hamlet of Eldern. Quite well frequented by the residents of southern Ottobeuren although we saw nobody out this afternoon.

I had avoided the walk this year because of the snow as it is also an area where the cross country skiers are to be seen and I don't like spoiling their prepared tracks with my boots. In fact, even now the walk was partly difficult with large stretches of half-melted snow but freezing ta the time we were out.

Used the opportunity of the Günz river being very full and the waterfall in full flow to try out a manual setting on the camera. Again low light level not ideal but was quite pleased. If it was warmer and not around 2°C I might have tried more changing settings. Another day.
