Layers

Dear Diary,

Our snow turned to ice and then back to snow.  I real mess yesterday but things are looking a lot better this morning and the power and internet are still on so all is well.  I'm able to get quite close to Tootsie now and was able to get this close-up of her lovely feathers.  It may be the Chinese year of the pig but for me it is the year of the turkey I think!

My two walking wounded seem to be coping fairly well.  Wilbur of the Wonky tail is doing fine and Rosamond's injury has scabbed over well which is a good thing.  I think they will both recover.  I am so pleased.
