Birthday Orchid...

We've had a quiet Sunday, church this morning at Shudy Camps and Claire came across to visit.

We had a walk along the river in Upware into the back of Wicken Fen on a lovely sunny afternoon, no need for coats either as it was quite warm.

One of Margaret's birthday gifts was this orchid and I was taken by the sun shining through the translucent flowers so I set up a black card behind and at an angle to the sunshine and then took the photo to get the card as a back-drop but allowing the sun to backlight the flowers...
