Building a fort

We woke up to find the elves had made snow angels in rice. Cleo wasn't really impressed at all and just said, "Can I have a drink?" Maybe because she doesn't know what a snow angel is, or maybe she is world weary already at almost three, or maybe she was just thirsty but the elves are going to have to do something extra impressive tonight, I think, to keep the excitement going!

We took part in day two of the 30 day hands on play challenge- making a fort. The kiddos had a good time I think. Ash enjoyed crawling back and forth through the fort, squealing with delight, and Cleo liked playing with the torch best I think. It somehow morphed into a sock puppet game with singing puppets (a mommy one and a Cleo one) which was enjoyed by everyone (except maybe daddy's ears).
