Burning through the mist

A pre-breakfast walk on the beach. A few other snaps included.

Grandad had been moved to a "short stay" ward. With a totally different set of visiting times, thankfully they let us see him anyway. It was good to chat. I really hope he'll be allowed back to his care home soon. The hospital staff are lovely, but stretched much too thinly to be able to help make him as comfortable as possible.

We came home via some friends in Sheffield. It was good to catch up with them.
