Fireman

I’d seem him in the crowd at a couple of fires. I asked around. Apparently, he was a familiar face. I started to pay attention. He wasn’t just at some of the fires. He was at ALL of the fires. And he was often in place by the time we arrived. I had suspicions. But I was able to satisfy myself that he hadn’t had anything to do with starting the fires. But he was always there. Always.
