Old Man Lichen

This photo shows John modelling for my "Forest Sprites of Australia" book. Together we created 'Old Man Lichen'.  We were camping in a rainforest  near Bellingen and I stuck the lichen and mosses on with honey. He was very keen to wash it all off as things were crawling  in his ears!  He was such a good sport going along with all my nonsense.
