Let Down

Sunday has been an anti-climax. 

Junior’s team was due to play Manchester in Edinburgh tonight, needing just a draw to win the championship (British Universities, North - Tier 1). Manchester couldn’t get a team to travel, and forfeited.

Edinburgh got the 2 points and a notional 5-0 scoreline. I think Manchester get fined as well. 

Edinburgh wanted to win it on the ice in front of their supporters, but there you go. They have one league game left, then a playoff against the winners of the South championship (probably Oxford).  

Me? 

Mealplan, shopping list, farm shop, laundry, ironing, cleaning… 

I did get out for my cycle/jog session in the park just before 8am. A beautiful morning. Ideal Blip material.
