Time for Tea
A backblip from Thursday...We invited B and J for tea and cake this afternoon. M and I spent a happy morning baking, this is the 'preserved ginger cake' that we made, along with 12 Viennese tartlets. M weighed out all the ingredients for me, iced the ginger cake...and of course had the treat of eating the remainder of the cake mix from the bowl and spoon. I know they say that you shouldn't eat raw cake mix, but M just loves it. I used to eat it when I was child when my mum baked cakes, I don't believe it's done me any harm!
We had a lovely afternoon sitting in the conservatory chatting and enjoying our cake and a pot of tea.
