End of a night shift

Sunglasses at the ready for a lovely drive home following a night shift, however………..Thick fog was not the sight I was hoping for. 
I can't remember the last time I used fog lights but this morning the fog was particularly thick. Why do some drivers use fog lights when there is just a gentle light mist therefore blinding you from the brightness of the glare from unnecessary fog lights and yet this morning driving home along the motorway with very poor visibility  ahead and behind and there are total 'numpties' driving with NO lights - not even side lights. Total fools. Ok rant over!!!!!!!!!!!
