Robert startled at sudden Spring

Robert the Rabbit is clearly taken aback at the host of Tête-a-Tête daffies that are fluttering and dancing before him. (Robert has a loose head, and is now safely back a way from the edge of the pond after I've had to retrieve his head from the depths several times.)
In the extra photos is the first bumblebee I've seen this year, attending to the daphne odora.
