Seagull have to live in the winter!

Sun was going down on the way hom ethis evening so I decided to race it to Deganwy and try to get a sunset blip.

Got there too soon and it was FREEZING so I started taking pickies of this gull. it was flying up and dropping shellfish onto the stones from a height to break them (common round here - not sure elsewhere) - eating it then going off and coming back with another. Got several shot of him/her dropping the shellfish but the background was never good.Basically I wasn't moving too far from the warmth of the car to get the background right!!

In this he is just about to drop it - the next shot has it just of out frame!
