How to be popular as an ex-pat in Muscat:

1. Be nice to everyone.
2. Say nice things about everyone.
3. Avoid wit.
4. Don't be sarcastic.
5. Don't mention being an atheist.
6. Keep your head down.
7. Don't voice opinions.
8. Don't react to idiocy.
9. Don't do anything that could be construed as remotely negative.
10. Suffer fools, gladly.

Life on blipfoto is a lot like being an ex-pat in as much that the more affable and positive you are, the more the community embraces you.

For no particular reason, I'd just like to say thanks to all those who continue to subscribe and especially those who leave a comment even when I'm being a negative moanygroan.

And that goes for those of you reading this who know me in real life too.
