Lunch at Giuseppe's

Very busy and fun day today. Met my friends in the lady painter book club for lunch at Giuseppe's. This is the salad of the day with shrimp and fish on top of the salad. It was almost too pretty to eat. But not... As always we had a great time together.

Later my  friend Isabelle picked me up and we drove up to White Rock to hear a concert by the Vancouver Cantata Singers. The concert was called "Music of the Spheres" and consisted of many modern choral works and one by Schumann. All were about space and stars and the infinite. It was a wonderful concert and I loved the music. Much of it was from the minimalist school so it dovetailed very well with the concert last night. I have a new respect for and love of minimalist music.
