Fun Run
It was so warm today, it felt like summer in February!
I slept better and didn't get up until 10am. Lucy came over unexpectedly as Shelle needed a break. We took a little dandle in the garden as she's just discovered it. She let me take her hand as she toddled around, looking at the dog and pointing at some of the plants. When she pointed at the Rose bush and headed towards it and wanted to touch it, I explained that it would be 'ouch!' which she seemed to understand! She loves mum and dad's patio, complete with lots of lovely big stones, just the right size for picking up! She held them, passed them back and forth to me, and popped them on the floor in the dining room. She wore a dress with pockets today, but she's not discovered how useful they'll be yet!
When I sneezed twice in front of her (hay fever!) she smiled and then leaned in to give me a hug! She's a poppet :-) It makes me wonder how babies know to be kind and loving at 14 months, and how do some people grow up to do terrible things :-(
Dad got the Fun Run out of the loft for her today and cleaned it. She might be just a little bit too young for it, but she was intrigued and wanted to explore the cars.
After she left I crashed out and chilled for a bit, not wanting to do a whole lot else! I did go with mum to walk Little B and it was good to get out.
I even managed a little home workout this evening which made me feel good. I wish my shoulders had never been hurt and I could gym till I drop!
