Hip shot

I was up before Neil to finish my photos from yesterday.
Was again posting a day late!
Today I will be better :)
I then started wanted to start with the final edits for Jochen and Anna's wedding I shot in October. (see here and here)
I had uploaded all the proofs in November, but they took until January to make their choice. Then my IMac was broken, so I could not start earlier.
We had agreed 40 images and I was quite surprised that their list contained 94 images???? I had not counted them when I got their email, but it actually never occurred to me that they would come back with more than the agreed number without any additional comment.
I wrote and email back asking if they may have sent me the wrong list....
This unfortunately meant that I could not start my working on the pictures as planned, as there is no point in doing extra work when they cut down the list to 40. I was a bit annoyed about that.
Then I packed my beautiful Mint Instant Camera to send it back to Hong Kong for replacement. It is eating batteries and stops exposing without warning, which produces back images and wasted film. I checked with support and they offered repair or replacement. I went for the quicker option - replacement. I miss it already!
Neil and I went via Petes to the Post office, then headed for Queen Margaret drive for some late breakfast. We ended up at Comet Pieces with their incredible creative rolls and stuff.
Bal, the owner was in and we started talking about loads of things, including music and gigs.
He used to have a band and they were performing in Glasgow. I got a link to their old sound cloud. Its good stuff!
Back home I did this and that and will read my book next.
Its nice doing some reading - I think last time I read is YEARS ago!!


Blipping a street shot. When I saw him, I expected him being a smoker an thats why he was out side ... but on cigarettes on the table. Maybe he just wanted fresh air.
It's shot from the hip, thus a bit shitty framing. But I am always shy to point the camera directly at people .....
