Blackness Castle

Further inroads made into the festive shopping this morning including a visit to Woodwinters Wine Shop followed by coffee out with Rebecca on her first birthday......12/12/12!
The afternoon walk was from Blackness to Abercorn Church through the woods by the Forth and this is a shot of Blackness Castle. It is a fine example of a 15th century stronghold built to protect the port which is a few miles from the Royal town of Linlithgow
