Valentine roses

Only one of the twelve Valentine roses remains alive.  Today I finally took this rose and put it in a bud vase by itself.

After filling the bird feeders, the chipping sparrows took every available spot to feed and were in waiting mod on the clothesline and even sitting on the edge of the birdbath.  When a mockingbird came to feed all the chipping sparrows disappeared. (see extra)

I've gotten various jobs about the house done.  After the gorgeous weather yesterday, we are back to cold dreich weather today.  The yo-yo weather continues.
