Blood tests

L woke at 1am with shivery high temperature so the rest of the night was a bit of a write-off and we kept her off of nursery today. N is on half term so he cancelled his plans in order to stay with her whilst I went to work. She improved a little through the day but only with the help of Mr Nurofen and Mr Calpol. The snots came through in abundance so we think (and hope) it is just a bad cold.

This afternoon I continued as planned and headed up to the Royal Marsden Hospital to have my blood taken in preparation for my appointment in a week or so. The roof looked pretty good in the sunshine against the blue sky.

I wish I hadn’t taken my coat with me as all I did was carry it! It’s unseasonably warm!
