Flower Friday

Apart from calling at the pharmacy on Wednesday, I haven't been out and have done very little since last Monday.  This cough needs to disappear now as I can't sleep and my ribs feel broken!  I think it is improving a little, but I'm fed up of lemon and honey (I don't even like honey!).  Even invitations to the pub have had to be rejected, and I have missed walks!  I bought some half-price bunches of daffodils a week ago and they are still going strong.  I like it when they are all at different stages in the vase. It would have been my husband's birthday today, so I was glad to have some "happy" flowers in the house.
