Just A Blue Blur

Some people would call this a blue jay, but all I see is a blue blur, even with my camera on a rapid fire setting. Any suggestions for getting it clearer?

This jay has been taking peanuts out of our hand for the past few weeks. He shows up every morning, sitting on the railing, just waiting for us to look up from our coffee and newspaper. He's gotten a lot quicker at it and hesitates a lot less after weeks of practice. My favorite part is when his small, scraggly feet push off my hand to get away with his loot.
