Croydon Crocuses

I had a sneaky day off today, hoping the promised good weather would arrive and I'd be able to get up to the allotment and out into to garden.

After a misty start it turned into a glorious day. I manged to dig the potato bed and restart the never-ending war with the couch grass round the gooseberries before lunch and after a quick snack moved into the garden. There's still quite a lot of tidying up needed after the builders.

These were hiding at the back. Crocuses don't seem to last very long but these still look ok. My WI is also named after them.
