Sunrise at Nichol End, Derwentwater

The sky looked lovely when I woke up on my last morning at LPH, so I went off before breakfast to capture some shots looking over the lake at Nichol End Marina. I used lots of the new techniques learned from John this week when processing this one.

(Note: The patches of blur on the jetty planks are the result of the water lapping up through the planks during the long exposure - not my camera going wrong!)

After breakfast we said our fond farewells to our fellow guests, and especially to Debs and John, and then we all set off for home - but not before I grabbed a selfie with the couple who have given me such lovely memories (not to mention the fab teaching from John) - see the extra.
