Duddingston Swans

On Wednesday I stopped off at Duddingston Loch in Holyrood Park on my way into town. Wherever you go on the banks of the loch the swans are sure to follow. They are so acclimatised to humans giving them titbits that you do not need to be bread with you as they will follow you in any case. I took some close up shots but I liked this shot of the swan snuggling down after preening itself as it showed just how flexible that new is. I've also included an extra of the white boat house that sits beside the lake.
