Frozen starburst
Chill morning stillness,
Delicate shapes iced with frost.
A frozen starburst.
Up early this morning, in time to see the sun slowly spreading it's light. The sky was grey and cloudy but suffused with orange, then pink, then reddish orange as the sun came up.
There was a heavy air frost, which meant all the lakes were frozen, the trees were sparkly white and grasses and ferns transformed. Absolutely magical. Took a lot of photos and have had a job to decide which to blip, but kept coming back to this one.
The rest are here . maybe I should have chosen one of the others .... oh well can't dither any longer!
Last belly dance class before Christmas tonight. Looking forward to it, a few mini performances too, to show the other class what we've been up to (and vice versa). Will also be dancing with my own little group, and possibly on my own .... depending on how practice goes in a minute.
Better get jingling - catch up later ....
