joyous music from Andy Statman - on the far left - who has been playing his clarinet & mandolin at this shul weekly for the past thirteen years - tonight's show celebrating this as a 'bar-mitzvah' with his trio plus two special guest musicians.
my favorite piece: Jewish surf music! who'd have thunk? also loved the drummer's use of a chest-mounted washboard and kitchen spoon.
