A Nod To

The third Wednesday of the month means 6 mile Canal Walk. Today four ladies and Poppy (a Retriever x Poodle ) joined me and set off in pretty much perfect walking weather. At Coates lock (our turning point ) we met up with Mrs A S, Bea, Moss and Badger (who had walked out from home) to complete the walk and join us for Tea@2.
The walk was a great success with lovely people and some great spots along the way, including a heron, an Egret and the Kingfisher!
Tea@2 was splendid as usual and all the walkers joined us there.
The above is a kissing gate on the towpath(very rural at this point) which I find the redundantess as opposed to dereliction of amusing, the setting wild and wide and now of course a tree for JOE makes for a lot of tags today
