Preparing for the monthly family meal. Tonight we’re having a lovely Persian dish with aubergines, walnuts and pomegranate. I love pomegranates, but preparing them brings on my trypophobia. It’s both fascinating and terrifying to peel back the skin and see all those jewel like arils with their tiny eyes popping out.
