Such a tiny thing, made of aluminum, magnetic particles, plastic, and other metals, but so, so important.

My hard drive - saved from drowning, rescued from its plastic laptop casing, and working!

All my work from the last seven months, and every single photograph I've taken since arriving in Gaza, are saved.

It is now all backed up in several places, as it should have been long ago.
