Bertie loving a character at soft play. My friend Beckys girls took him round whilst we caught up with hot chocolate.
He got a bit tearful at one point as he was looking for me but couldn’t see me. He was so relieved to find me! He’s becoming more affectionate in general- which is lovely as at points I’ve felt like we were two flat mates who weren’t that keen on each other but financially stuck with each other..
Instead of hugs, he backs himself up onto my lap. The other day I moved my hand from around his waist - and he moved it back across his tummy. I did it a few times to check and - yep! he likes my arm round him! He also requires me to kiss any injured body part when presented. These little things mean so much.
