I have news: 
I will work again for the company I worked for before we moved a year ago, for now with a temporary contract to try out if the situation with 100 km commuting distance is bearable for me. I stopped working for them as I didn't want to do the travelling after moving due to Philipp's new job, but I guess I will just need to find a solution to improve that situation: I will stay one or two nights somwplace there and only work 60%. My new old boss is very considerate, so there is a good chance that it will work for everybody.
