Nuts!

We were all off today (with no swimming as it’s half term) so we took L on a train for a couple of stops into Bromley. She was so excited... he little face was filled with joy as she took in the station, platforms, waving at the driver, watching the world whizzing by, etc! It’s been at least 18 months since we last took her on a train as she took quite a dislike to them. It seems that her feelings have happily changed for the better.

We got her feet measured at Clark’s (no change since October so no new shoes needed today) and looked in a few other shops before feeding the squirrels in the Churchill Theatre gardens and heading to Café Rouge for a little lunch. We then caught the train back home again.

We have a happy but tired little girl on our hands tonight.
