High Flying Birds

I had to collect some human remains from a museum store today, take them to a lab to be sampled for radiocarbon dating, and then return them to the museum store. A 200-mile round trip in all but, fortunately, I had my glamorous research assistant (Mr DA) with me to do the driving. Anyway, mission accomplished and we even managed a brief spell of red kite spotting...which is probably how we ended up in the rush hour traffic on the way back.
