Inviting

We left Brid on the early train and arrived in London by midday to clouds, rain, homelessness and sirens. Not the best first impression of London for new visitors and in sharp contrast after a weekend of sun and sandy beaches.
R got me an invite to an LGBT history month event at K&C town hall with Sue Sanders Speaking. She is a founding member LGBT History Month and for me it reminiscing about the events and changes in London since the 80’s. They were great times but when I think about the fear and discrimination we faced and where we are now, it’s fantastic. At least in this country and city.
On the way home we stopped off for Pizza at a very welcoming Express Tavern.
