Ready to leave?

I have started to prepare for a visit to France next month.  I now have two international driving licences, one for Spain, a signatory to the 1949 Road Traffic convention and one for France, a signatory to the 1968 Road Traffic convention.  I have also ordered a Green card and checked that my insurer will still negotiate with a foreign insurer in the event of an accident.  All this is a pain and they never mentioned it when we had the referendum!  I think we should have a People's vote to see if voters still think it is worth all the negative consequences and hassle of 'taking back control!'
