'Early Morning'

Got up early and this morning as the sunrise is around 5:45am at the moment. It was a beautiful sunny clear morning so I threw on some shorts and went out the back to see if I could try to capture some of the rays.

There was plenty to see and capture, but ended up back at the old Cotoneaster tree again. Not so many bees today as the tiny little flowers are near the end of their life, but there were plenty of butterflies and flies. My preference was for the butterflies and this one just flew into my shot and presented itself as if on que. Thanks little butterfly.

End of the school year today, and another scorcher day, more tomorrow apparently.

Sad news to come home to tonight that Ravi Shankar had died. He is such a musical genuis and inspiration to so many artists around the world. He's also the father of the also very talented Norah Jones & Anoushka Shankar. R.I.P Ravi, you will be sorely missed, but the music will live forever.
