Eva had a riding lesson this morning. She did really well as Jack started taking the mickey a bit and stopping but she got after him. Shona had her doing 10m circles in each corner to practice steering, not an easy thing for her to master in trot but she made it look easy.

Peggy's mum dropped in to the yard. Was good to see her. She's doing well considering.

I got the arc on lime and we had half an hour till it had finished so we did some poo picking. Lime has this old war memorial in his field. It looked very dramatic against the sky today.

Kids had the dentist this arvo. Dentist asked how Eva had lost one of her baby teeth. I said it just fell out after wobbling for a bit. She said 'Hmmm, they don't normally lose those till they are 9'. She also said Eva may need to be referred to the hospital to have her frenulum snipped as it is attached very low in her gum and could be why her top teeth have a gap :0( Doesn't sound very nice so agreed we'd wait to see if the teeth either side push them together and refer her when she's a bit older if needed.

Felt really ropey when I got home so had to go for a lie down and fell asleep. Felt a bit better when I woke up, but Mr EG also not feeling 100% when he got home so we ordered a curry. I managed to clean the bathroom but other than that good for nothing this evening. It's a fearsome bug that breaks through my immune system!!
