Gin

A drink to have with an elderflower tonic, ice and a slice,  and a perfect accompaniment for a belated birthday lunch with my 'Ladies who Lunch' buddies today. 

One of my neighbours took a tumble in Shrewsbury yesterday (no gin was involved I can assure you!!) and was taken to A&E for an x-ray which confirmed a fracture of the upper part of her left humorous, but she came home. She has to go to the fracture clinic tomorrow for further assessment; meanwhile the near neighbourhood are on hand with assistance.  I've done quite a few things for her this morning and will return this evening to help her into bed and fill hot water bottles etc.  A's a real trooper and is coping well.
