Riding

A beautiful day in town today and perfect to head out with the kids for a ride. First stop, the bike park at the top of Victoria Park. Lots of berms and bumps, which sadly Adam tacked on the second corner. Straight over the handlebars, landing "superman" style in the middle of the track, after which the bike landed on top of him. Bugger. As I said to him, I do that most trips to Rotorua, I think that cheered him up a little, or kept the tears away at least.

But he got back up and we did 3 circuits, then threw the bikes back on the car and headed to Governors Bay for an easy 7km ride along the waterfront. Really lovely. A quick (and very expensive) chocolate at She Chocolate, then home, some more tidying, and then out to friends for a BBQ.
