Volunteering

Tina is a volunteer gardener at Kensington Gardens, helping the gardeners  looking after  the flower beds and helping keep them in tip top condition. The Friends Of Hyde Park and Kensington Gardens are hoping that others may follow in helping out with this task. 

When I met Tina today it certainly seemed like a fascinating task. She showed us the mess hut where she can get a cuppa and the tool shed with the forks and spades all hung up in immaculate orderliness (see extra). 

On a desk in the mess room is a collection of toys that have been picked up in the park (see second extra). I expect some toddlers have been bereft at the loss of their favourite comforter.
